Independent Living For Seniors has an internal DME/DMS, better known as Durable Medical Equipment and Supplies, department.

DME/DMS staff is responsible for procuring, delivering, and installing the equipment needs of our participants with internal as well as external sources based on the care plan as determined by the team.

We provide ALL equipment that is medically necessary, from a walker to a specialized wheelchair, from a hospital bed to a flair care special mattress, or from a transfer pole to a power lift along with all the medical supplies, such as band aides, bandages, ostomy supplies, and glucose monitoring units.

We have a routine scheduled preventative maintenance program for all ILS owned or rented equipment. We accomplish all this with 3 full-time employees that also are on-call through the weekend as well as holidays. Our staff provides this service with the knowledge of the equipment and its workings along with a high level of professionalism that is accompanied with a 95% on time completion rate.
