Dr. Adam Herman

Dr. Herman graduated from the University of Virginia School of Medicine followed by Internal Medicine residency and Geriatric Medicine fellowship at Yale University. Prior to relocating to Rochester, Dr. Herman was an Assistant Professor at Emory University where he led Geriatric and Palliative Care education programs. He also served as the Medical Director at the Vista Care Inpatient Hospice Unit on the Wesley Woods geriatric campus, at Emory University and as a Palliative Care Consult Team Physician at the Atlanta VAMC.

Dr. Herman has received grants from the Hartford Foundation and Birmingham/Atlanta VAMC GRECC investigating palliative care and end-of-life issues. Prior to his arrival in Rochester, Dr Herman was closely involved with the strategic development of palliative care services at Emory University and the Atlanta VAMC. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine and Hospice & Palliative Care.
